  1. When something's bothering you in the back of your mind, but you don't know whether it's intuition, an emotional reaction from your past, or something else all together.
  2. When you don't want to jump into action until you know what's at the heart of this situation.
  3. For situations in which you want to discover more information about any situation or conflict you are involved in, or more understanding of your innate feelings, values and beliefs.
